We
have developed a training structure that has proven to be quite
successful for hunters and hunt test competitors alike. We
have qualified dogs for competition on a national level for
the past several years, including the 2004 AKC Master National.
In our Retriever Hunt Test/Gun Dog Training Program, your dog stays at
the kennel for a minimum of three months. We teach your dog to work for
you and we dedicate many hours of our training to you in our owner training
sessions. Your dog will be exposed to a variety of game birds, introduced
to the gun in a positive manner and be retrieving to hand. Our goal is
to have you handle your dog with confidence, understand his training, and
enjoy yourself! It's fun to hunt with a trained dog. Our All-Breed Obedience Training Program
lasts one month. We teach your dog the basics of
good manners, including sit, down, come, heel and
no. Our program includes several private lessons
with the owners to learn and practice the technique
of handling your dog.
Private
Obedience lessons are available with just you
and your pet at $40 per hour. All immunizations plus
Bordetella are required.
