Luke is an 9 year old purebred Labrador Retriever owned by Butch and Bev Higgins. Before he was 2 years, Luke was a Master Hunter and has qualified every year since. He produces good looking, well balanced pups that are quiet in the house and eager in the field. Butch has force fetched many of his pups - they are early developers and very trainable.

Qualified for '06 Nationals. Butch's intention are to run him in the '06 Master Nationals in California. Luke's son Willy will also be running in the nationals.

Butch did take Luke & 2 of his sons to the Master Nationals in CA
Oct. '06.  There were 241 dogs entered.  75 Qualified.  Luke's son
Raider, owned by John & Judy Lorenzo of Olympia, WA Qualified. This is Raiders 2nd MN qualification. He qualified at the '05 Nationals as a 3 yr old & last yr at 4 yrs. old. 

"Willy" another Luke son ran his first National last yr just before he turned 3 yrs. old.  Willy make it to the 5th series. I might mention that both Raider & Willy were Master Hunters before they
were 2 yrs. old.

Luke has continued to produce top working dogs with great dispositions, good looks coupled with great balance for the home & field.  Ask any Pro or owner who has trained them and the replies will always be the same, if the owner has done his part the pups are quick learners & great markers.
